✅ Legal Requirements for EAPC'S in the Uk -

To be road legal without a license, insurance, or registration, an e-bike must meet the following criteria:

Pedal Assistance Only: The motor must assist only when pedalling.

Speed Limit: The motor must cut out at 15.5 mph.

Motor Power: Maximum continuous power output must not exceed 250 watts.

Age Requirement: Riders must be at least 14 years old.

Display Features: The bike must show the power output and manufacturer details.

If your e-bike meets these conditions, it is treated like a regular bicycle🚴‍♂️:

You can ride it on cycle paths and roads.

No Helmet is legal required (though recommended)

No Tax, Insurance, or License needed.
