Out and about with the Neighbourhood Policing teams |
||
|
#TogetherFor Bedfordshire | It’s been another busy week for our neighbourhood teams policing the streets of the county, engaging with the public and working to catch the minority who can make lives a misery in the community. Our Biggleswade Comunity Policing team has been following up reports of nuisance motorbikes around Stotfold and Arlesey, and here’s a result; a bike seized and the rider reported for a number of offences. We know how concerning these bikes are and will continue to pursue the riders, but please carry on reporting incidents. And members of our Dunstable and Houghton Regis policing team have also been responding to your reports of night-time robberies in the area. They have been conducting high visibility patrols, raising awareness, providing practical advice and engaging with shop owners to help them protect themselves and their businesses. This, of course, is the week when we have been remembering the fallen. It’s something our officers take incredibly seriously, and they’re always keen to help pass the message down the generations. So PCSO Rachel from our Leighton Buzzard community team joined pupils from Stanbridge Lower School to mark the 11 November commemoration. And, you’ll know we are big animal lovers in the weekly round-up…and often feature some of our police dogs in action or training, but this week we’ve got some good feline feelings, with this beauty who befriended members of our Bedford team. They’ve been out in North Bedford carrying out house-to-house inquiries, picking up intelligence and gathering evidence and statements. Every bit of information can help us put together a picture of what’s happening and the concerns of our communities. Don’t forget you can report concerns directly to us here: www.beds.police.uk/ro/report or call 101.
