Brickhill Speed Watch

Can you help? We are seeking volunteers to help keep the roads of Brickhill safe. 

Community Speedwatch are looking for new members to help them monitor vehicle speeds in the area and log the details of those caught speeding. 

The scheme involves speed checks in local neighbourhoods, motorists caught speeding are given an advisory letter by us, explaining the dangers of their actions. 

Speedwatch require a minimum of 4 people to start a group with at least 2 trained volunteers for each session. Having registered as a volunteer you will be offered an online training session, for you to view in your own time. Bedfordshire Police will then arrange a demonstration of Speedwatch equipment at the roadside. Training in conflict management and first is offered but optional.
