Our community policing teams are dedicated to proactively tackling issues that matter most to our communities and address the core root of a problem, finding a long term solution. Split across local hubs, as well as an airport community team and the Community Enforcement team, officers have a visible presence in our communities engaging with the local public and prioritising activity based on the needs of the local people.

Partnership working is the key to community policing success and teams work closely with other organisations to maintain good networks and monitor community needs, working together to fully understand a problem and tailor the response to get the best results.

There is a PMP setup on Athena under the reference PMP/2237/25 to support tackling and resolving the problem. DRUG RELATED OFFENCES will be the focus of the next 3 months. This is a continuation of the previous priority for the area. Issued 08 October 2025	Subject of ongoing priority located and identified, stopped and searched and arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.
