Our community policing teams are dedicated to proactively tackling issues that matter most to our communities and address the core root of a problem, finding a long term solution. Split across local hubs, as well as an airport community team and the Community Enforcement team, officers have a visible presence in our communities engaging with the local public and prioritising activity based on the needs of the local people.
Partnership working is the key to community policing success and teams work closely with other organisations to maintain good networks and monitor community needs, working together to fully understand a problem and tailor the response to get the best results.

PC PARKINSON has attended meetings at BREW POINT regarding organised car meets at the location. PARKINSON is involved with the operation in CLAPHAM where nails and screws have been laid out on the roads causing punctures to vehicles. Extended duties, change in shifts, and many enquiries have been carried out to identify the cause and those responsible. Enquiries are still ongoing around these issues raised.
