Our community policing teams are dedicated to proactively tackling issues that matter most to our communities and address the core root of a problem, finding a long term solution. Split across local hubs, as well as an airport community team and the Community Enforcement team, officers have a visible presence in our communities engaging with the local public and prioritising activity based on the needs of the local people.

Partnership working is the key to community policing success and teams work closely with other organisations to maintain good networks and monitor community needs, working together to fully understand a problem and tailor the response to get the best results.

AUG 25- NOV 25 DRUGS RELATED ASB has been identified as the community priority for this quarter, this has been agreed following a Priority setting meeting with local Councillors on 31/07/2025. DRUGS RELATED ASB will be the focus of the next 3 months. If you have any concerns regarding your local area, please contact your local officers via: BedfordRuralNPT@beds.police.uk Issued 31 July 2025	There has been joint partnership working with the Council and Housing, BPHA to understand the issues in our areas, various 'Coffee with a Cop' engagement events. On the 10th September there has been an engagement at Emmaus Carlton for around crime prevention open for all to attend. This PMP was created the 1st August. Due to the large area, HVP has been carried out across all areas and multiple intelligence reports have been gained from speaking to people, online reports, and Officers stopping vehicles and throughout their patrols. We continue to work our best to tackle the issues in your area, even if they fall outside of this PMP. Thank you Actioned 01 October 2025
