342 - North Barnfield

Our community policing teams are dedicated to proactively tackling issues that matter most to our communities and address the core root of a problem, finding a long term solution. Split across local hubs, as well as an airport community team and the Community Enforcement team, officers have a visible presence in our communities engaging with the local public and prioritising activity based on the needs of the local people.

Partnership working is the key to community policing success and teams work closely with other organisations to maintain good networks and monitor community needs, working together to fully understand a problem and tailor the response to get the best results.

SPEEDING will be the focus of the next 3 months. 1 PMP (Problem Management Package) has been set up under reference PMP/1376/25 to support tackling and resolving this problem. No issues raised 07/07/2026 - Hi-Vis done in the area surrounding the Sixth Form College and Lippitts Hill, Old Bedford Road and Fairford Avenue 01/07/2026 - Officers attended Sixth Form College in regards to a Culture Day Event. PCSO'S engaged with students and staff inside the college. No issues raised Due to large amount of ASB driving numerous drivers were issued with Section 59's and two vehicles was seized due to driving without Insurance.
